In this brochure you will find everything you need for your holiday or short break on the English Riviera including listings of all our accommodation: hotels, guesthouses, B&Bs, self catering, campsites and holiday parks. All are ideally placed for touring Devon, the Westcountry and South west.

Seated on the rugged coast, surrounded by Devon’s magnificent countryside, the English Riviera encompasses the three resort towns of Torquay, Paignton and Brixham each with a unique character of their own.

Nestled in the heart of the English Riviera, you’ll find Torquay, where elegance and style combine to create a bustling Mediterranean atmosphere. Paignton occupies the central third offering unrivalled stretches of sandy beaches and secluded coves. You’ll find Brixham at the Southern most tip where one of Britain’s most beautiful working harbours remains at the forefront of a quintessential harbour town made up of narrow winding streets and coloured fishing cottages.

The English Riviera houses its very own micro climate as short mild winters give way to balmy summers, allowing the areas sub tropical plants to flourish.

Drift back into the style and opulence of the 1920s as you discover the homeland our greatest murder mystery writer, Dame Agatha Christie. Explore the places she enjoyed as well as an abundance of locations and rich scenery that feature in some of her best selling novels.

Don’t forget your walking boots, as the English Riviera has over 22 miles of breathtaking coastline. Just a gentle amble and you can discover flora and fauna in over 2000 acres of country parks and gardens including 11 sites of scientific interest. There’s even an underwater nature reserve.

The English Riviera has 19 beaches and coves, waiting to be explored and you can find no end of attractions and things for you and the family to enjoy.

From the rich harvest of the sea to the produce from across Devon’s treasured farmland, the area is famed for its local food and drink. From our world famous Brixham muscles, to our local Devon cider, and wines and not forgetting the traditional Devonshire cream tea, there are abundance of tastes for you to sample and enjoy.
